Some Poems.
I whipped up some poems for my tea party (see previous post). They were fast little things, but quiet cute. I have this whole theory about what makes a good poem. Its all about drawing them out of your subconscious which is where true creativity comes from. But I’ll blag about all that later (its a very passionate rave sort of thing).
So i was wondering, dose the fact that i whipped these poems out in under 10 minutes make them worthless or less valuable then other poetry? Most published poetry i read is trashy stuff. sonnets? I think it is demonic to write a sonnet. Why don’t we just get wild eagle and wrap its body in cellophane and watch it hop around? Creative expression is like an eagle, it shouldnt be constricted by stupid rules with no value. It should be free. But then some people take it too far, like the Dadaist, who I’m really into at the moment. A group of people who created Anti-art as a protest against artistic snobbery.
“For many participants, the movement was a protest against the… nationalist and colonialist interests which many Dadaists believed were the root cause of the war, and against the cultural and intellectual conformity — in art and more broadly in society — that corresponded to the war.”
Anyway, here are my Poems. Every opinion is valid and wanted.
