My BIG idea

Imaginary Friends are a cause close to my heart. They are so often attacked by parents wondering what is wrong with their children, but the real question is what is wrong with the parents. Studys prove again and again that children with imaginary friends are more creative and lateral thinking than those who lack these fundamental imaginary relationships. Children in general are more highly developed human beings than adults. I want to save adults from themselves by fostering a sense of childishness within them. So i am starting a revival. But i dont know what to call it.

mystery womanThe Underground Movement for Imaginary Friends. / The society for the Propagation of Imaginary Friends. / The IF’s (Imaginary Friends Society). / The Imaginary Friend Factory./ The (Secret Society, foundation, institute, organization, establishment, association, Administration, Officialdom, Union, Movement) for the (promulgation, proliferation, production, protection, propagation, Construction, Rights, Awareness, Understanding) of Imaginary Friends. / The Secret Society for the Construction and Proliferation of Imaginary Friends? So many possibility’s. I need something easy to say that really pops.

We have a three fold vision, to promote the use of imaginary friends through 1) An interactive online community where imaginary befriendsers can relate and discuss their imaginary friendships 2) The publication of “Making Friends: The universes most comprehensive guild to the art of imaginary friends” 3) Imaginary friend workshops across Australia and the world. Where i teach people how to make and sustain imaginary friendships.

So What do you think? I would like to think it could be a giant international movement. Its sounds silly but it could be a serious tool to help develop lateral thinking skills. I could research it and businesses would pay me to teach their employees how to develop imaginary friendships and I would be on Oprah and the world will bow down and worship me. so, what do you think?

I am in love with your idea. I am a 17 teen who has an imaginary freand. She is a dragon who I have
not came up with a name yet because I dont want to copy anyone so I just call her Sara until I find
something more creative. Parents dont realy understand people of this age for they dont go to the
same places or thought processes beacause we are influnced much differently. I will read more but
so far I have trouble some times visualizing her in my head. Youll read my next coment there so
    meat you there?

I have not been here a while for i was trying to find some forums to write my opinion. Are you still up for the idea about getting other peoples imaginary friends?

Oh before i forget Some new friends came out of the blue and i have finally given names to all of them

The dragon who i was talking about is now named Joule for here pretty scales. the two new are Spyro and Tender heart. Obviously Spryo is a dragon and Tender heart is a pony.

Spyro developed in my mind when I had to accept my childhood for what it was long story short he is someone to replace a friend who betrayed me in a group of people at my church of all places.

Tender heart is a pony who met me in a dream a year back and I just finally let her talk for she would not go away but I am happy to have new friends.

It would be nice to talk to you for it is getting boring them talking amongst themselves. It would be nice if you could Email me and let your imaginary friends ask mine a few questions maybe short of what your dream was but you have to start somewhere. I would like to know more about your imaginary friends as well.
