I have some Good News and Bad News.
Here is the bad news first:
Bad news: I recently discovered that tons of my comments have been caught by my spam filters! I discovered them and read them and clapped my hands as if discovering the lost children that I never knew I had, and in my feverish quest to get them to where they belong… I deleted them all! Alas! Even my resident hacker Luke could not save them as they drowned in a swirling pool of data. Even now if I open my ears wide enough I can hear their little adoring screams getting fainter and fainter “what a wonderful bloooog pooooooossssst!” *flush*.
Good news: Luke was able to fix my spam filters so that now all your comments will et through! hoorah!
Even more Good news: (This is the real Good News to go with the Bad News, the other good news was just something I thought I should say to qualm your future commenting fears). I recently discovered the blog of one of my favorite authors! Jaclyn Moriarty. I have only read two of her books, I have a Bed made of Buttermilk Pancakes, which is also the title of her blog, and Feeling Sorry for Celia. I own them both! She has this beautiful simplistic voice and this casual way of addressing the surreal, as if discovering a dinosaur bone is as common as afternoon tea. She writes her blog with the same beautiful voice in which she writes her novels which makes me think: maybe this is not pretend, maybe this is how she thinks and talks and breaths all the time?
Also another interesting thing is that I discovered that my sister has one of Liane Moriarty’s (Jaclyn’s sister’s) books! Three Wishes. I shall dash over there and steal it oh so soon! (I also suspect she has my copy of Buttermilk Pancakes, which I must rescue!)

yeah, i’ve read the celia book, well my sister read it to me - it was pretty funny, random. she also has one ‘finding cassie crazy’ which Dru liked just as much as the first, but i haven’t read, so i guess it’s alright.
Spam filters are necessary, but they sure complicate things. My email filter is like a rabid 10 year old video gamer, very aggressive. I’m constantly rescuing valuable emails from its clutches.
