It is easy to stay up late.
One feels tempted to stay up for hours watching TV or reading one of the MANY books you have on your to-do list.
Or writing blog posts.

They wrote to each other via electronic mail.
One wrote letter and sent it.
The other accidentally deleted it.
Murder.
The first waited and waited for the second to reply.
