We are One (1st)

HandsLook at your hand. You think this is a hand, and these are fingers and this is a thumb. But tell me, where dose a finger stop being a finger and start being a hand? You cannot find the place where they seperate. There is no such place. The fingers are the hand, they are one thing.

A hand and a wrist are the same thing. And although we call a wrist a wrist, is this not just a word we use to describe what is actually, part of an arm? Toes, hairs, skin, eyes, these are not seperate things. They are all one big thing. They are a body. One thing, all together. Not seperate little things, but one big thing.

We call that the ocean and this the land but show me the line that seperates one from the other. There is no such line. And if there is nothing that seperates one from the other, maybe they are one.

There is no such thing as fingers. Fingers are not real. It is all a hand. It is all an arm. It is all a body. It is all one thing. The concept of ‘finger’ is just a mental box we put around a physical thing to help us understand it better. It is an illusion.

And we think there is you and me, but there is not. You do not exist. I do not exist.
When a child is in the womb, when dose it stop being it’s mother and start being itself. When dose your vomit, sweat, saliva, excretion stop being you and start being seperate from you. You could say some things where never a part of you, they were just moving through you.

Maybe this works for food, but what about water? Am I everything I am except the water inside of me? Or is the water that makes up x% part of my mass a part of me? And dose it stop being part of me when it is spat onto the sidewalk? Or is it still a part of me still? And if so, dose the side walk then beocme a part of me. Because where is the line where the water ends and the sidewalk begins? There is no line.

‘You’ and ‘me’, they are blurry definations with no solid lines around them. Because they are imaginary terms, they are not truthful representations of reality, they are convinient lies. You think that you have fingers. you do not. This is a convinient lie.

Can you show me the line where I stop being me? Can you show me the line where you stop being you? There is not such line. The concept of ‘you’ and ‘me’ are just mental contructs we develop to help us communicate with others and ourselves. ‘You’ and ‘me’ are imaginary concepts. We are all just one big thing.

There is no ocean or land. It is just one thing. There is no Africa or Asia. It is just one big thing. There is no line that seperates a cloud from the sky it is in. No boundary that seperates a fish from the water is swims through. There is nothing seperating me from you. We are one.
