Things I ate today:
Breakfast: waited till i was starving at about 11am. Visited Hayden and had half a glass of ginger beer. Two pieces of chocolate cake.
Lunch: waited till I was starving at about 2pm. Visited Hayden again - had cup of tea. Picked at pasta left overs. Ate about 5 pe cheese on crackers.
Dinner: glass of wine, because it was the only liquid in the fridge and I was too lazy to go to the tap and pour myself water!
It wasn’t until I got home from a church meeting tonight that I realized I was FAMISHED. I was sooo hungry I almost cried. I stuffed my face with a tortilla wrap while defrosting a thai chicken stir fry. It was okish… I just hope I dont get food poisoning because I probubbly broke a million health and safety rules while making it.

hungry hungry hungry!
Reasons why I dont eat:
It takes too much effort to cook. cooking is lonely. cooking is not fun. i dont have the right/enough ingredients. I leave dirty things around so that means i have to wash up BEFORE i cook! double wammy! my lazyness outweighs my hunger. I dont really enjoy food, dont spend much time thinking about it or craving it and eating is not really ‘fun’ for me. It is hard buying ingridients and cooking for just one person.
Things I am going to do differently (seriously): buy some more food stocks… maybe some bacon… maybe write a list of quick and easy food things… I am going to throw out my coles salt reduced spread and buy some REAL butter, then I will be able to eat TOAST - mother of all foods! Maybe also make an effort to cook at least ONE meal a day.
*note: I live in a small studio on my parents rainforest acreage. So although technically I live by myself, it is only short walk to my parents house. Thus I often drop by for conversation and to steal foods. Hayden is my younger brother who is home most days writing murder mystery partys.

1. I really like your banner! Very cute!
2. Here are some easy things you can eat.
toast- as you mentioned above. You could even think about an egg on that, but it is more washing up…
bread- aka. sandwich. Buy some ham/roast beef from the deli at Woolies/IGA, and some cheese… do you have a sandwich press? They’re good for making sandwiches yum, and also good for cooking eggs with minimal washing up- just spraying and wiping down.
soup- you have done this before, so do it again. Make up a big pot of it (or curry etc) and freeze it. This also works for pasta bakes- as in, macaroni and cheese, plain pasta with sauce, spag bowl… etc.
Already made dinners- these are expensive, but yeah, easy.
Musli bars- these are also not very good for the pocket (but the home brand ones are okay) they’re good for when you’re on the go etc.
Come over to our place for dinner- just let me know when you’re coming and I’ll make some extra. I think tonight I’m making Indian Dosas… Google it.
Corn on toast- do you remember when we were kids we use to eat this? Just make some toast, heat up the corn in the microwave (only 1 plate so far), put corn on top of toast (maybe another plate here, plus utensils if you’re that way inclined). You could also put cheese on this, or baked beans instead, or spaghetti in a tin, or the alphabet things only God knows what they’re made of, or any other tinned food probably…
sausages- also if you have a sandwich press, this is a good idea because it’s easy to clean. Cook up a whole stack and then you can cut up the sausages to put on sandwiches (does this remind you of your childhood?!), or make some sausage rolls out of (you can use our oven), or cut them up and put them in a stir fry (you can buy stir-fry packs at the supermaket).
P.S the sandwich thing is a good idea, and because you’re lazy you could even get already cut/grated cheese! alternate fillings could be tomato, onion, roast beef and chutney/pickles (I’m pretty sure we have pickles…), corn and cheese, baked beans etc., sausages…
Yes, I agree with Talia. Become one of those super-prepared mother types who cooks in ‘batches’ and then has those silver tinfoil freezable containers. And if you want to feel like you’re 35 and have meals for the kids lunches under SUPER control, get a Nikko pen and write on top what the meal actually is. Even though you will know, because there probably won’t be anything else in the freezer. Still, it’ll make you feel good.
Eat fried rice. Basically, rice and anything you find and throw in. Literally.
