The Colour Parade.
On Saturday the 4th of February 2012 I marched the streets of Melbourne with The Colour Parade, a creative movement of unashamedly colourful/beautiful creatures, based in Sydney and now Melbourne, Australia. I’m looking forward to seeing this baby grow up into a big monster!

Fairy bread for sale!
Rinky Dinky Rhys and Rena Happens invested some CASH and headed out into Sydney Road Festival to make a LIVING!
We were particularly popular with little people. and we even had a few international fairy bread virgins who had never tasted this sugary Australian delight before in their LIVES!
We made a MEGA PROFIT!!! and used our coins to buy chocolate filled croissants. yum!

FIERCE
I am a core member of Awkward/Amazing a melbourne based arts collective that organises public art happenings and holds space for radial self expression. Our latest and largest project was FEIRCE: the unofficial after party for melbourne fashion festival. It was a riotous success, with over 8 awkwardly amazing underground designers, several surprise performances, a runway built out of milk crates, $42 worth of glitter and over 300 fashionistas packed into a brunswick warehouse! We received so much positive feed back we’ve already started planning the next one. Didn’t make it? watch Rachael Imam’s video below, and if you live in Melbourne or close by, start planning your outfit for the next one!!!!
