Rhys is a Writer/Performer/Philosopher/Imagineer/Jesus-Follower/Revolutionary/tea-drinker who lives on the Sunshine Coast, north of Brisbane.

His favorite sport is tree climbing.
His favorite drink is sarsaparilla.
His favorite Flower is the SUNFLOWER.
His favorite cake is the pinapple upside down cake.
His favorite season is summer.
His favorite footwear is N/A.
His favorite tea is peppermint.
His favorite letters are T, R & Z.
His favorite body part is the foot.
His favoirte animal is the giraffe.

Rhys is currently finishing is debut novel - Jac and the Wild Children.
A segment of the work recieved a highly comended in the Regional New Writers Scholarship 2007.

He is also a Performance Poet, and has won several awards for his work.
Rhys has won the 2008 love poetry hate Racism open mic,
was a finalist in the 2008 nimbin performance Poetry World Cup,
won the 2008 Speed Poets Championships,

Rhys has also participated in the 2008 TiNA (This is Not Art) festival in Newcastle,
running a workshop on developing meaningful relationships with imaginary friends.
